Privacy Policy

The Exiled Prince (the “Game”) is published by Gaming Box Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the Game collects, why, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. Last updated: June 6, 2026.

Summary

• We collect only what we need to run your account, save your story progress, and grant the chapters you buy.
• We do not show ads, and we do not use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• You can play Act 1 without an account. Saving across devices and buying later acts requires sign-in.
• You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see Data deletion).

Data we collect

We collect the following, and only when it applies to how you use the Game:

• Account & sign-in. If you create an account or sign in, we store your email address and, when provided, your display name and profile image. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we store the provider’s account identifier (subject ID) to recognize you on return. If you register with a password, we store only a one-way cryptographic hash of it (never the password itself), plus a temporary token if you request a password reset.
• Game progress. Your save data (story choices, current chapter, in-game state) so you can continue across sessions and devices.
• Purchases. Records of in-app purchases (which chapters or language packs you have unlocked) and the purchase receipts/tokens we receive from the app store to verify them. We do not receive or store your full credit-card or payment-instrument details — those are handled by the app store / payment processor.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) generated when your device contacts our servers, used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data, and the Game contains no advertising identifier usage.

How we use your data

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To save and restore your story progress.
• To deliver and verify the chapters and language packs you purchase.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How your data is shared

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Game:

• App stores & payment processors (Google Play, Apple App Store, Xsolla) — to process and verify your purchases.
• Sign-in providers (Google, Facebook, Apple) — only if you choose to sign in with them, to authenticate you.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — to run our database, cache, and email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. We restrict access to personal data to systems and people that need it to operate the Game.

Data retention

We keep your account and progress data while your account is active. Purchase records may be retained as long as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Email mrthanhvinh168@gmail.com from the address on your account, or with your account email, and we will process the deletion. We will remove your account, sign-in identifiers, profile information, and game saves. Some purchase records may be retained in anonymized form where required by law.

Children

The Game is intended for a teen and adult audience (ages 13 and up) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
